Be a Legionnaire!
Any person shall be eligible for membership in The American Legion who was a member of the Army, Navy, Marine Corps., Air Force or Coast Guard, of the United States.

If you have served at least one day of active military duty and were honorably discharged or you are still serving active military duty honorably, you are eligible for membership with The American Legion.

Membership in The Sons of The American Legion are limited to all male descendants, adopted sons, and stepsons of male and female veterans who are active or have an honorable discharge. A Legionnaire can also be in the Auxiliary or the Sons.
